Bader, Eugene Harold

(May 25, 1929 - June 18, 2010)

 Eugene Harold Bader 80, of South BeloitIL. died on Friday June 18, 2010 at St. Anthonys Hospital, in RockfordIL. surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 25, 1929 in Beloit, Wisconsin, the son of Arthur and Grace (Nelson) Bader.

He attended Beloit schools.

He was joined in marriage to the love of his life, the former Miss Vivian M. Connell on August 26, 1950 in Dubuque, Iowa.

Mr. Bader served his country in the Naval Reserves from 1950 until 1955.

He was employed as a welder for 35 years at Fairbanks Morse and then at Taylor Freezer for 8 years.

Mr. Baders favorite hobbies and interests included golfing, reading and word puzzles. His beautiful tenor voice was often heard singing   Country-Western Music. His favorite artist was Hank Williams, Sr.

 He was a member of the Mens Golf Association of Winnebago County

He is survived by  his beloved wife, Vivian

Their three children:

Julie A. (Robert) Kowalke " McFarland, WI..

Jean M. ( boyfriend) Anibal Ayala )Bader " Worcester, MA.

Three granddaughters:

Lisa M. (Jarrad) Johnson " Roscoe, IL.

Bridget A. (Adam) Bolthouse - Loves Park, IL.

Brooke L. (friend-Jeremy) Dascher " Machesney Park, IL.

5 Great Grandsons,

One brother Kenneth (Ramona) Bader " Evansville, WI;

One sister Elaine Punzel " WI. Rapids;

and 2 beautiful cats: Bonni and Belle and many nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Grace Bader and Infant son Eugene Arthur Bader.

Mr. Lance Bifulk will officiate.

A Memorial service with Military Honors will be held starting at 6.P.M.
