Petterson, Leslie N.

(September 14, 1924 - April 21, 2010)

 Leslie Nelson Petterson 85, of Beloit, WI died on April 21, 2010 at BeloitMemorialHospital.

He was born on September 14, 1924 to Nels Oscar and Anna Kamlager Petterson in Beloit. Leslie was a graduate of Beloit memorial high school. After graduation he joined the US NAVY where he served in Alaska until he was honorably discharged in 1946.

He then retuned to the Beloit area where he started working at Sundstrand Corporation (now Hamilton Sundstrand). He retired after 33 years of work.

Leslie Loved watching NASCAR races, going to the Rockford Speedway races, traveling all over the country and spending time with family.

Leslie is survived by his wife Ludy Petterson and one brother Lowell Petterson, of Chandler, AZ. and a host od nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by five brothers, Norman, Clayton, Gordon, Rolland and Nels.  

The family would like to give special Thanks to Robert and Linda Gabbard, and the City Of Beloit (Paramedics) Fire Dept for the excellent care given to Mr. Petterson.
