Jinkerson, Elizabeth Liz

(January 12, 1936 - April 12, 2010)

Elizabeth "Liz" Jinkerson, 74, of South Beloit, Illinois died on Monday, April 12, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 12, 1936 in Beloit to Alvie and Zola (Haskins) North.

She grew up in Beloit and attended Beloit memorial High School, graduating in 1954.

She worked at Freeman Shoe Company as a shoe cutter for 35 years.

After retirement, she worked for Laidlaw as a bus monitor.

She was married to Orie Jinkerson on January 30, 1961 in Beloit.

She loved camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

She was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan and she owned just about every piece of Packer memorabilia known to man.

She was a very outgoing person and will be truly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter: Jacqulyn Jinkerson of Amery, WI. Grandson, Tony Lee Streuly of Beloit, WI. Grandaughter Sara Jean Streuly of Beloit, WI. Great Grand daughter Jazzmyn Streuly of Beloit, WI. Two sisters: Donna (Larry) Neblock of So. Beloit, IL. Helen (Mark) Purdy of Gassville, Ark.

She is Preceded in Death by her Husband: Orie Jinkerson, Brothers, Harold (Topper) North and Donald North. Her Parents and Grandparents.

 The Funeral Service for Liz Jinkerson will be held on Friday, April16, 2010 at the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer Funeral Home. Time 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Karen Stubblefield will officiate. Burial will be in EastlawnCemetery.
