Kipp, Henry R

(April 13, 1920 - April 13, 2010)

Mr. Henry R. Kipp, 90, of Beloit, died on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Sun Valley Terrace.

He was born on April 10, 1920 in South Beloit to LeRoy and Elsie (Curry) Kipp.

He graduated from BeloitHigh School, Class of 1940.

On May 28, 1958 he was joined in marriage to May Burdick at home.

Mr. Kipp worked at various manufacturing plants in the Beloit area. He retired from Warner Brake after more than 20 years of employment there.

He was an active member of PeoplesChurch for many years.

Mr. Kipp enjoyed working with the Boy Scouts and for 6 years was the Assistant Scout Master   of Troop 318, which met at the Salvation Army in Beloit.

Mr. Kipp found great enjoyment in volunteering at BeloitMemorialHospital, Grinnell Hall and with R.S.V.P.

Mr. Kipp was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army at the BeloitPlaza for many years; the bell was still found, treasured in his possessions.

He is survived by his three children:

Nancy (Doug) Larson " Browntown, Wisc.

David (Phyllis) " Beloit, Wisc.

Philip (Sally) Kipp " Beloit, Wisc.

Six grandchildren

Six great grandchildren.

One sister-in-law, Juanita Kipp " Beloit, Wisc.

He was preceded in death by, his wife, parents,

Two brothers: Alden and Delmar;

Three sisters: Doris, Leitha and Wilma.

One grandson, Adam Kipp.

The Funeral Service for Henry Kipp will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Peoples Church. Time of service 11:00 a.m. Pastor Ron Anderson will officiate. Burial will be at FloralLawnsCemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday, April 15 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Funeral Home. Friends may also call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
