Smith, Nancy Yost

(December 19, 1922 - February 26, 2010)

          Nancy Y. Smith, 87, of Beloit, Wisconsin peacefully passed away on February 26, 2010.   She was born on December 19, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois to Karl and Lucille (Swift) Yost.   She graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1944.   She married Richard H. Smith in February, 1956.

          Nancy enjoyed spending summers at the lake with her family.   She was a member of many social clubs and attended First Congregational Church of Beloit where she was active on committees and a former board officer.

          Nancy is survived by her son, Steve, three grandchildren, Michael, Katie, Emily, and great-granddaughter, Brynn.   She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard, and son, Karl.

          Visitation will be at 10:00 Am on Thursday, March 4 at the First Congregational Church of Beloit, followed by the memorial service at 11:00.   Internment will be private.   In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the American Heart Association.
