Shimmins, Dale R.

(October 10, 1945 - February 18, 2010)

Dale R. Shimmins, 64, died February 18^th, 2010 at home. Dale was born October 10, 1945 to Lee and Elizabeth (Dennison) Shimmins in Beloit. He graduated from Beloit memorial High School in 1963.

Dale worked as a welder for the Beloit Corporation for 37 years until the company closed their door.

Dale married Kathleen Sors on March 31, 1973. They were blessed with two daughters, Donna and Kristin and two grandchildren, LaTasia and Javon who were the love of his life.

Dale was a committed family man. He loved and enjoyed his family and beloved friends. He would do anything for anyone.

Dale was a die hard Packer fan and loved NASCAR Racing, especially Matt Kenseth.

Dale is survived by his loving wife, Kathy

His daughters, Donna and Kristin, of Beloit.

Two grandchildren: La Tasia and Javon of Beloit

His mother-in-law Donna Sors " Beloit

Sister-in-law, Pat (Rich) Blaine, Fond du Lac

Brother-in-lawDel Sors- Beloit

And further survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, brother Doug Shimmins, sister-in-law Sue Watrous, brother-in-law Ed Watrous and brother-in-law Doug Sors.
