Johnson, Harvey E.

(November 2, 1928 - February 12, 2010)

Harvey E. Johnson, 81 of Holiday, Florida, formally of Janesville peacefully passed away on February 12, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on November 2, 1928 in Gale, Wisconsin to Milo and Laura (Salmanson) Johnson. He joined the U.S. Army and served as a Military Policeman.

He was joined in marriage on August 9, 1962 to Brigitte Brunner in Janesville.

Mr. Johnson worked for 30 years at JATCO, where he hauled cars from the GM plant to the various car dealerships in Wisconsin.

His various hobbies and interests included fishing, planting both flower and vegetable gardens, and most of all enjoying his grandchildren.

He is survived by his two children:

Melissa Johnson " Janesville

Mark (Catherine) Johnson " Friendswood, Texas

Four grandchildren

One sister, Doris Hanson " Holmen, WI.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Brigitte

His mother and father, Milo and Laura (Salmanson) Johnson and two nephews.
