Utynek, Shannon Ruth

(July 24, 1939 - February 5, 2010)

Shannon Ruth Utynek, 70, of Necedah, Wisconsin died on Friday, February 5, 2010 at home.

She was born on July 24. 1939 to Gordon and Valerie (Gokey) Schroeder in Wild Rose, Wisconsin.

On November 12, 1988 she was joined in marriage to Donald W. Utynek in Beloit.

From 1987 to 2005, Mr. and Mrs. Utynek managed Sturgeon Lake Lodge, hunting and fishing resort located in Canada for their friends and employers, Larry and Jeri Cornellier. She also worked at General Motors and at Frito-Lay.

She liked hunting and fishing, and being with her family and friends. Her best friends were Carol Adduono, Helen Cordone and Karen Norlen.

She is survived by her husband, Donald W. Utynek " Necedah

Two daughters:

Robin " Janesville

Arnetta " Rockford, IL

Three sons:

Carl

Troy and Mark all of Rockford, IL.

Granddaughter:

Crystal " Janesville

Two brothers:

Gene (Sally) and Bill, both of Oshkosh, WI.

Step sister. Sharon " Oshkosh

Step daughter: Donya (Brandon) " Beloit

Her mother and stepfather: Valerie and Bud Reichling " Brodhead, WI.

She was preceded in death by her father Gordon Schroeder and one brother Gary Schroeder.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Funeral Home. Time 1:00 p.m. Mr. Lance Bifulk will officiate.
