Shimmins, Douglas Lee

(November 28, 1939 - January 13, 2009)

Douglas Lee Shimmins, 71, of Clinton, formally of Beloit, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Meadow Park Nursing Home.

He was born November 28, 1939 to Leland and Elizabeth (Dennison) Shimmins. He graduated from BeloitHigh School.

Survived by his wife Mary Ellen " Beloit.

His children:

Terry Shimmins " Beloit

Rick (Kym) Shimmins " Rockford, IL.

Amber Shimmins " Beloit,

Doug Shimmins " Beloit

One brother, Dale (Kathy) Shimmins " Beloit.

Two grandchildren: Nicole and Quentin Shimmins.
