Zumbro, Russell L.

Mr. Russell L. Zumbro, 78, of
He was born on March 4, 1931 in
On November 3, 1951, he was joined in marriage to Mary Alice Lind at the
Mr. Zumbro was employed as a machinist; first at Barber-Colman Co. and then at Ingersoll Milling Machine Co. where he worked for over forty years until his retirement in 1992.
He enjoyed all aspects of the outdoors from planting flowers and trees to hunting and fishing. He had many hobbies but his passion was crafting colorfully inspired fishing rods for family and friends.
Mr. Zumbro was a member of the N.R.A, Ingersoll Rod and Reel Club, Rockford Mens Garden Club and Riverside Assemblies of God Church, where he faithfully served the Lord through volunteering.
He is survived by his two daughters:

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, his parents and his sister Darlene Degerstad.
The Funeral Service for Russell Zumbro will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Riverside Assembly of God Church,
