Rodeman, Marilyn Kay
(December 22, 1943 - August 19, 2008)
Marilyn Kay Rodeman, age 64 of Beloit, Wisconsin died on Tuesday August 19, 2008 at Premier Care. She was born December 22, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Victor and Pearl (Thompson) Paul. She graduated from Berkley High in Berkley, Michigan. Following this, she attended Detroit Business Institute. Upon graduation, she was hired by Chrysler Motors to be an executive secretary. Marilyn worked for the company until she met Mr. Fred E. Rodeman, who became her very best friend and her life partner. After their marriage, Marilyn worked for Albert H. Wohler™s Co. and Insurance in Park Ridge, Illinois as the executive secretary to Mr. Wohler. After moving to Beloit, she worked with Fred in his own C.P.A. business as the secretary until the time of her illness. Having received her B.A. (Born Again) Degree at the young age of seven (she was a fast learner), Marilyn has now graduated to the place of highest learning, greatest service, and joy unspeakable, full of glory. With "til death do us part" fulfilled, Marilyn is no longer the wife of Fred Rodeman, but together with all other B.A.holders, (both male and female), Marilyn is to be found formally and eternally as a bride of the ONE TRUE BRIDEGROOM at the Marriage supper of the Lamb (GOD THE SON). This great event may not be very far off. In fact, some reading this obituary may well be joining this joyous group via "the meeting in the air" rather than by "walking through the valley of the shadow of death". Marilyn was a loyal participant at Berean Baptist Church of Beloit. She loved to visit those in the hospital and in nursing homes. Marilyn loved to visit other Churches; especially during revival meetings. She also liked to visit the people at Fairhaven Baptist Church and College in Fred™s hometown of Chesterton, IN. She is survived by her husband, Fred of Beloit. Special first cousin, Rosalee (Kilburn) Reade of Angola, Indiana; and various and distant cousins in the Tri-Corner area of Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Special friends and sisters in Christ: Kathy Steinborn of Janesville, WI; Amy Rasmussen, Rita McAuley, Gloria Clark, Cecile Brown all of the Detroit, Michigan area, and Marion Deming of Rosemount, Minn. And all of the ladies of Berean Baptist Church of Beloit, WI. And special lady friends of Marilyn™s at Peoples™ Church and Rock Valley Chapel of Beloit, Wisconsin. The funeral service for Marilyn Rodeman will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday August 23, 2008 at Berean Baptist Church, Beloit. Pastor Kelvin Swanson will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens, S. Beloit, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Saturday until the time of the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Berean Baptist Church. Online condolences may be sent to rukfuneralhome.com
