Ullius, Russel E.

Russel E. Ullius age 99 of the Beloit/Janesville area died Wednesday June 11, 2008 at the Marlyn & Don Anderson Hospice in FitchburgWisconsin. He was born October 27, 1908 in JanesvilleWisconsin to Louis and Hazel (Ransom) Ullius. He attended and graduated from the U.W.AgricultureCollege short course in 1934. He loved agriculture and was an active member in Rock County 4-H, a Farm Bureau Member for over 50 years and a member of FirstBaptistChurch in Beloit. A past member of Rock Prairie Presbyterian Church. He married Le Berta Littell on March 29, 1941 at the EmeraldGroveChurch and Ruth Marie Hanaman on October 2, 1976 in PeoplesChurch in Beloit
He is survived by two daughters: Pam (John) Bartels of South Wayne, Wisconsin; and Susan (Tom) Kelly of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Four grandchildren: Traci, Timothy Kelly, Krista Knudson, Kara Bartels. Two great grandchildren: Brittany and Allison. A brother Ralph Ullius and a sister Marion Longman. Step-daughter Pam (Terry) Harred-West of Rockton, Illinois. Cindy (Bob) Harred-Gardner of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Five step-grandchildren: Steve (Heidi) Paulson, Monica (Scott) Partenfelder, Jennifer, Natalie, and Kevin Johnston. Five step-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, first wife Le Berta in 1975 and second wife Ruth in 2005. A brother Stuart, and a sister Louise Kjos. Two step-grandsons: Jaimy and Brian Johnston.
Funeral Service will be Saturday June 14, 2008 time 11:00a.m. at the FirstBaptistChurch in Beloit. Pastor Gene Van Galder to officiate. Burial will be in EmeraldGroveCemetery. Friends may visit on Saturday June 14, 2008 from 10:00a.m. until time of service at the FirstBaptistChurch. Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Funeral Home is entrusted with the care of the family.
