Moore, Ernestine

(November 4, 1948 - June 10, 2008)

Ernestine Moore, age 59, of Beloit, WI. died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at BeloitMemorialHospital surrounded by her loving children, family and friends.

            Ernestine was born in Goldust, Tennessee on November 4, 1948 to Mattie Mae and Joseph Jackson Sr. She married Hobart Garlin Moore who predeceased her in death 1971.

            She then moved to Beloit from Chicago in June of 1984 where she was employed for several years by Alliant Tech Industries.

            Ernestine was well loved, not only by her family but the friends of her children and everyone that came in contact with her. She was one who brought joy to whomever she interacted with. Ernestine will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.    

            Survivors of Ernestine include her mother, Mattie Mae Jackson of Ripley, TN. Five sisters, Carrie Dunn of St. Louis MO, Joyce (Eddie) Stowe of Chicago IL, Earline Hailey of South Carolina, Margaret Bradford of Ripley, TN, Pearlie Mae (Pedro) Alston Of Ripley, TN. Three brother Joe Nathan (Lois) Jackson of Marion, IN, Willie Jackson Of Ripley, TN, and John Reed of Mississippi. Three children, all of Beloit, Sandra, Eric, Dory, and Mory. Three grandsons™ that held her heart includes Ghimone Moore, Larell Danley and Kory™el Huges. Also includes special friends Kim Wallace, Annette (Jeannie) McAlister, Glenda Richardson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

            She was predeceased by her husband, Hobart G. Moore, father, Joe Jackson Sr., two brothers, James Reed and Curtis Reed, an aunt that was very special to her Mother, Mary Hattie Reed, a very special uncle, Edward Reed, and Mother-in-law, Corene Kimmons.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 12 noon at Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Funeral Home. Pastor C.F. Hereford will be officiating. Burial will follow at EastlawnCemetery in Beloit. Friends may visit on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
